A small addition consisting of a sunroom was added to a Federation house to provide an informal living space that related directly to the garden and provided a sunny space to sit. The addition was designed as a glasshouse but with solid walls below window sill level. Window seats provide additional seating. The roof is split to provide views of the sky and to allow additional sun into the room.
